Artisanal expertise blends with ecological ethics for a simply stunning collection of hardwood kitchen accessories
Founded in the south-east of France in 1892, over a century of expertise guides the exquisite craftsmanship evident across Berard France’s fine collection of kitchen accessories. From fruit bowls and cutting boards to mortars and pestles, salt and pepper mills, and storage containers, every piece is hand carved and finished by skilled artisans.
Having respect for the environment and championing local production is at the heart of the Berard France ethos. Olive trees and hardwoods are individually selected to ensure strength and durability, with the wood used predominantly coming from branches removed as part of the standard pruning and maintenance cycle. Each item is hand tooled in local workshops across Italy, France, Spain, Albania and Tunisia - all of which are located as close as possible to the source of the wood in order to minimize the carbon footprint and environmental impact of production.
